Objectives of This Role

  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Provide customer perceived value to separate Intelinet from the competition

 

Responsibilities

  • Structure and manage the implementation of integrated distribution systems for LAN / WAN applications
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the ICT project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and industry experts
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • Assure that our service offerings surpass the competition and deliver on the commitment every time

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years or more of relevant professional experience, with proven expertise in management and coordination of complex ICT projects
  • Experience in the design and build of ICT distribution systems for business and the communications industry
  • Ability to read and interpret complex project drawings, designs, scopes of work and RFPs
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management both internally and with our clients
  • Fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications, Auto Cad, Adobe and Visio
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • A recognized Degree in Business, Technology or Engineering discipline
  • Specialization in Category 5E, Category 6, Fiber Optics, CATV, multi-pair copper backbone systems and wireless network systems for LAN/WAN applications
  • BICSI RCDD, RTPN Certification
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Experience in developing implementation plans
  • Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling: Schedule meetings, technicians, project manpower, appointments, and other events
  • Travel arrangements: Manage travel arrangements when required
  • Communication: Prepare reports and communications on behalf of others
  • Organization: Organize electronic files and time management systems
  • Customer service: Provide excellent customer service at all levels of interface
  • Vendors: Maintain excellent relationships with vendors where required
  • Recruitment: Assist with recruitment, training and onboarding processes
  • Inventory: Take inventory and order office supplies
